The Beautiful Ordinary
A slower, story-driven family session built around the life you’re living right now.
Instead of meeting in a field at sunset, we’ll start with something that already belongs to you. Pancakes in your kitchen. A walk for ice cream. Bikes around the neighborhood. Saturday morning at the coffee shop. Decorating the Christmas tree. Gardening with Grandma. Your favorite playground.
I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, but mostly I’m looking for the little things — the way your child reaches for your hand, the pileup on the couch, the mess on the counter, the tiny rituals you barely notice because they happen every day.
These sessions are meant to feel like your family, not like a photoshoot.

Here’s How It Works
1. Choose Your Session + Reserve Your Date
Click "Book Here," select your preferred date, and pay the 25% retainer to secure your session.
Note: The time you choose is a placeholder. We'll finalize the exact start time based on your chosen location, typically 1–2 hours before sunset for optimal lighting.
2. I’ll email you the Welcome & Style Guide and a short questionnaire
You get prep info and I can get a feel for your people, your style, and any special requests.
3. We plan together
I’ll help with location ideas, styling tips, and timing based on light.
4. Shoot day!
Relax. I’ll guide you a bit, but mostly we’ll let the magic unfold.
5. Gallery delivery
Within 3 weeks, you’ll get your full edited gallery. You can download your favorites—the number depends on which session you booked.

Branding sessions are designed for purpose-led entrepreneurs and creatives who want authentic, natural imagery that tells your story for your website, socials, and marketing.

I believe in documenting authenticity. I’ll prompt you a bit and then let you be. I’ll have you looking and talking with each other, spinning, and cuddling. I will always get a few posed shots but my focus is more candid, natural photography.

If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 3 days in advance. Your initial payment can be applied to a new session date, which must take place within 3 months of the original booking.
If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and no refunds or additional time will be provided.
For weather-related rescheduling, I’ll make the call to ensure everyone’s safety and protect my equipment. If you're traveling from out of state and rescheduling isn’t possible, your retainer will be refunded.

I require a 25% retainer to confirm your date. The balance is due 24 hours before your session time.

Yes, I have a style guide, client closet and access to a service called Style & Select. My client closet is available for full and journey sessions only. Half session clients may use the client closet for an additional $50.

You will receive an online gallery within 3 weeks of your session. Digital downloads will be available as well as prints and products.

Yes! I travel up to 20 miles for petite sessions, up to an hour for signature sessions. If you’d like me to go further, contact me and we’ll figure it out!

I don’t just slap a preset on your images and call it a day. Each photo is meticulously crafted with care and attention to detail. I fine-tune colors, textures, and lighting to enhance the natural beauty of the moment, creating a soft, painterly quality that feels timeless and unique.
