This past summer, I had the privilege of volunteering with Pedaling Minds, capturing the energy and determination of kids learning to ride at their summer camp in Boulder. It was one of those classic hot-as-heck Colorado days where the sun was relentless, but that didn’t stop the kids (or the teachers) from showing up, pushing through, and having an absolute blast on two wheels.
I had the joy of photographing Growing Gardens' Harvest Festival, where kids dug in the dirt, goats soaked up the love, and families learned about beekeeping, gardening, and sustainability. With live music, cornhole, and plenty of twirling in the sunshine, it was a perfect celebration of community and urban farming. Check out the gallery and relive the fun—minus the dirt in your shoes!
